Veronica Burbano

Veronica Burbano is a 3-6 AMI Primary Trainer with 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She worked as an early childhood educator at the GVSU Lab School in Michigan for two years and earned her Primary AMI diploma from MTCNE while serving as a Spanish specialist and assistant at the Amherst Montessori School in Massachusetts. Following her training, she developed and launched a bilingual program for one of the Casa de Niños at the school, where she spent over a decade guiding children, supporting families, and mentoring assistants and new guides. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing, with a minor in Organizational Communication from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and an M.Ed in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University. Currently, she serves as a Montessori Mentor for GCLL and conducts workshops in the US and South America. A mother of two, Veronica’s son and daughter both benefited from Montessori education. She frequently visits her native Ecuador to spend time with family and enjoys gardening, beekeeping with her husband, and caring for their seven chickens in her free time.

 


dr Paul Epstein

Paul is a respected international lecturer and inspiring speaker who works on providing transformational experiences for teachers and parents worldwide. He is the director of the Etonkids Montessori Teacher Training Academy and an instructor at the Montessori Kids Academy International Center. He earned a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the State University of Buffalo.
Paul has worked in education as a school director, university professor, trainer, researcher, consultant, and author. He has also been a teacher in a Montessori classroom for children aged 2.5-6 years.
Paul holds Montessori teaching diplomas for ages 2.5-6, 12-15, and 15-18, issued by the American Montessori Society. He is the author of numerous articles and the book An Observer’s Notebook: Learning from Children with the Observation C.O.R.E. He is also a co-author of The Montessori Way, one of the key works on the Montessori experience.

 


 

Dorota Rotowska

Dorota Rotowska – a theorist and practitioner of Montessori pedagogy with 28 years of experience. She is the founder and director of a network of institutions in Warsaw, operating since 2000. She is a psychologist, educator, and education leader by profession. A mother of four adult sons, all Montessori graduates. She is passionate about education for peace and a lover of East African culture, where she strives to fulfill her calling by working for the youngest children through the project Montessori Education for Maasai in a Tanzanian village.


 

Patty Sobelman

Executive Director of Pines Montessori School, a private non-profit organization in Kingwood, Texas. Since 2006, she has led a team of 50 staff members. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in early childhood education. Patty is the author of international publications and a speaker at the Annual International Conference of the International Montessori Council, the Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute, and the Polish Montessori Institute. Patty is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. Her consulting work has focused on private school start-ups and the ongoing development of businesses, such as finding markets, business management, culture development, tuition and salary setting. Pines Montessori School received the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Pinnacle Small Business of the Year Award in 2019. Since completing the GS10KSB program, Pines has expanded its offerings to include an infant community and middle school, increased enrollment by 25%, increased net operating income by 291%, and raised funds by 163%.
